“Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life.” This quote is what inspired The One Eyed Guys collection. The One Eyed Guys collection is a 1/1 hand-drawn project. Each piece represents a different trade or profession and seeks to illustrate the love one can have for their occupation.
The idea that one can love their job so much that they can become the tools of their trade is the sentiment that this project seeks to evoke. The project’s community is found on discord where the artist runs daily drops based on a raffle system. It is done so to avoid both cancelled transactions and dreaded gas fees.
The pieces fall under a tiered rarity system. First Generation consists of 1,200 one eyed guys: 900 Common, 189 Uncommon, 100 Rare, 10 Super Rare, and 1 Ultra Rare. To reward users who collect many One Eyed Guys, any collector who holds 9 common or uncommon One Eyed Guys will receive a free random One Eyed Guy airdropped to their wallet. Furthermore, if you acquire four rare pieces, you will receive a unique One Eyed Guy that you will be able to design with the artist. One Eyed Guys offer a glimpse of passion for one’s profession in its most fun and purest form.
