“In the future, every PopBit will be famous for 15 minutes.”

PopBits are fun playful painted characters. Every PopBit just wants to be famous. They are all deserving to be seen for their individuality and uniqueness whether they are a common human or a rare Skelton. PopBits are a brand new collectible art project mashing up a pop art aesthetic with Meebits. PopBits is the first NFT project to do painted versions of Meebits.

PopBits were created by artist Brandon who is a painter. The idea for PopBits came to the creator Brandon when he couldn’t find a NFT that he wanted to collect so he made his own. Each PopBit features playful color combinations inspired by modern and contemporary painters such as Katherine Bernhardt, Kieth Haring, Basquiat, Warhol, Eddie Martinez, George Condo, and Picasso. If a Meebit is a 3-D sculpture a PopBit would be a juicy and colorful painting.

PopBits first dropped in late June and sold out quickly. They can

also be viewed in a more traditional setting at the online PopBits Drop Gallery. The link can be found at the end of the article.

PopBits are all exclusively available for purchase at the OpenSea. PopBits is offering a special promotion for the month of July. If you Buy two PopBits, you will be gifted one PopBit free.

PopBits are unique and single edition 1/1 NFTs using a bonding curve. Each PopBit comes with a high-quality printable version of the image that is unlocked upon purchase. Only 1000 unique PopBits will be created. This project is not affiliated with Larva Labs.
